1 Dead Following Motorcycle Crash in Belmont County - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

A man is dead after a motorcycle crash Saturday night in Belmont County.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, 33-year-old Dusty R. Bobot, of Belmont, was traveling southbound on County Road 72 near Lafferty at about 8:40 p.m.

Troopers say he traveled off the right side of the road, struck a telephone junction box and then a utility pole.

Bobot was transported to Ohio Valley Medical Center for injuries sustained in the crash where he later died.

The incident remains under investigation and troopers say alcohol was most likely involved.
