While the chance of severe weather is limited, flooding is a strong possibility Sunday in the Ohio Valley.
Storms have moved over the area Sunday morning dumping heavy rain according to 7News Meteorologist Brian Davis. Davis reports that while the storms have not and are not severe, cloud to ground lightning can still be expected and caution should be used when traveling.
Flooding may be a concern for the Ohio Valley, especially in low laying areas. Davis says not to drive through an area where water crosses over the roadway.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) storms are expected to last through most of the day. Severe weather chances are slight, but will increase this afternoon and into the evening.
Davis says the main threat will be hail and some gusty wind.
