Local Senator Makes 2 Appointments to a Non-Profit Energy Board - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

A local senator has made two appointments to a non-profit energy board.

West Virginia Senate President Jeff Kessler appointed Doug Facemire of Braxton County and Art Kirkendoll of Logan County to serve on the Southern States Energy Board.

The purpose of the board is to enhance economic development and quality of life in the South through innovations in energy and environmental policies, programs and technologies.

The board is composed of 16 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
