WVU's Holgorsen Agrees to New 6-Year Deal

West Virginia University Head Football Coach Dana Holgorsen agreed to a new six-year contract extension Wednesday morning.

The new deal will keep the coach in Morgantown through 2017 and will pay him $2.3 million per season.

Last season, Holgorsen led the Mountaineers to a Big East Championship and a decisive Orange Bowl victory over the Clemson Tigers. 

He will now be charged with leading the Mountaineers through its first season in the Big XII Conference.
