
A 32-year-old Wheeling man has been indicted on one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
In a press release, the indictment alleges that Cordale Williams possessed a firearm in June of this year, even though having a prior felony conviction for possessing crack cocaine, with the intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school.
The federal court is also asking Williams give up a 9 millimeter pistol, that Williams allegedly carrying.
The US Attorney press release says that if convicted, Williams faces up to 10 years in jail and a quarter of a million dollar fine.
