Romney to Visit Ohio Valley, Rally at Century Mine Planned

7News has learned Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will be making his return to the Ohio Valley Tuesday at Century Mine in Belmont County.

Robert Murray of Murray Energy Corp. confirms a rally for Eastern Ohio coal miners is planned at Century Mine in Beallsville, Ohio. Murray will be bussing in employees and their families for the rally in support of Romney.

Romney announced Saturday Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan will be his running mate in the race for the presidency.

Mitt Romney will be making a stop in southeast Ohio next week.

Chris Maloney, Romney's campaign spokesman, said Romney and Sen. Rob Portman will be in the area on August 14.

Romney's campaign tour this week takes him to Virginia, North Carolina and Florida before he will make multiple stops in Ohio.
