NAMI RV to be in Jefferson County Week of Aug. 13 - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) has chosen Jefferson Behavioral Health System and the Jefferson County Prevention and Recovery Board to use their informational Recreational Vehicle (RV) in Jefferson County.

The RV will be making stops during the week of Aug. 13 in the City of Steubenville and Wintersville.

According to a news release the purpose for this week-long event is to increase awareness for anyone affected by mental illness, drugs and alcohol and homelessness. The RV will be staffed by trained therapists and case managers who will answer any questions and provide information and literature to the public.

Monday Aug. 13

Downtown Steubenville Across from Court House- 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Walmart Parking Lot at Fort Steuben Mall- 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Tuesday Aug. 14

Trinity West/Jefferson Behavioral Parking Lot- 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Hollywood Shopping Plaza- 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Wednesday Aug. 15

Urban Mission Warehouse- 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Jefferson County Fair- 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Thursday Aug. 16

Kroger Parking Lot in Wintersville- 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Riesbecks/Create-A-Room Parking Lot- 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Friday Aug. 17

Trinity East Parking Lot- 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
