Democratic National Committee Protests Romney During Ohio Valley - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

The Democratic National Committee's "Romney Economics: The Middle Class Under the Bus Tour" made a stop in Columbus, Zanesville, and Martins Ferry to highlight how Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan would "take America backward, undermine the middle class, and throw seniors under the bus."

The bus pulled up outside of United Steel Workers Hall in Martins Ferry with representatives including Former Iowa Governor Chet Culver, Massachusetts Representative Marty Walz and local citizen Carol Campbell.

Culver began the rally by discussing Romney's lack of support for small businesses, the tax hike on middle class families, and the tax hikes for wealthy Americans.

Walz worked under Romney during his time in Massachusetts.
