Brooke County Man Admits to Production of Child Pornography - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

A Brooke County man entered a guilty plea Tuesday to the felony offense of  '' Sexual Exploitation of a Child".

Officials said Michael John Jones, 40 admitted to producing child pornography in his Follansbee home by taking explicit photos and videos of young girls who were guests of his children.

The investigation began in Feb. 2012 when  State Police say they were advised that a video produced locally by Jones had been sent to a man in North Carolina.

According to a press release, Jones who is in custody, faces 25 years in prison and lifetime registration as a sex offender.
