2 People in Jail Over Spitting Incident - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

Two people have been arrested in a bizarre incident at Imperial Plaza in Bellaire, Ohio.

Authorities say while attempting to arrest 19-year-old Natalie Fergundo after she allegedly spit on a woman and her child, the man that was with her, Ronald Asher, 68, tried to interfere by grabbing the arresting officer.

Fergundo then proceeded to allegedly scratch the officer with her fingernails. Both were arrested on multiple charges including resisting arrest and assault.

Fergundo and Asher were taken to Belmont County Jail.
