Thursday, many students started back to school in Ohio County with great weather and a warm sunny day. Students and parents were greeted with cool temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s along with a clear sky.
Friday morning might not be so friendly to 8th graders and students planning to start school Friday. A cold front is heading in to the area Thursday evening and is expected to bring some rain showers and a few storms by morning.
Severe weather is not expected, but moms and dads should be aware that it might take a little extra time to get kids to school on Friday.
The good news is that the weather should improve through the day as the front quickly moves to the east and a sunny but cooler weekend is in store.
