WHEELING -
Members of Wheeling Park High School's Class of 2016 are making an important promise.
They took the High Five Pledge to make the most of their years at Wheeling Park and to graduate on time.
Wheeling Park Teacher Gail Adams said there are so many opportunities at the school and the students need to know if they can dream, they can achieve those dreams.
''So it gives the same symbolic way of remembering, hey I have a promise to myself and to the school ,''said Adams.
Freshman heard from Wheeling's Marketing Director Allison O 'Konski about how her teachers and classes helped with her professional career.

The Freshmen began school Thursday at Park.
All Ohio County students will be hitting the books on Monday.
