Toledo Welcomes Hometown Olympian - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

Toledo had a warm welcome home Saturday for Olympic high jumper Erik Kynard who won a silver medal in London.

A celebration was held at  Toledo's Rogers High School, as well as a parade in his honor.

Kynard actually won two state titles in high jump during his time at Rogers High School.

The 21-year-old who now attends Kansas State won the silver during his first Olympics.
