A federal judge has ruled that he will allow testimony about the sexual activity of the man behind the beard and hair cutting attacks on fellow Amish in Ohio.
The prosecution says there are allegations that Samuel Mullet Senior offered "sexual counseling" to married women.
The government says Mullet's sexual activities with married women shows the control he had over followers at their eastern Ohio farm.
WTRF.com has learned that Mullet's attorney argued that the testimony is highly prejudicial.
Sixteen Amish are charged in beard and hair-cutting attacks and face trial next week in Cleveland.
