ORIGINAL STORY
Wheeling Police say a stabbing early Saturday morning at the Market House Bar in Elm Grove is still under investigation.
Police were dispatched to the bar just after 12:30 a.m. when they say the alleged suspect, Frederick Higgins, allegedly stabbed Doug Orum with a box cutter in the parking lot behind the business.
Police say security camera footage from the bar shows the struggle between Higgins and Orum, where Higgins eventually runs from the scene, but was later arrested by Wheeling police.
Orum had to be taken to OVMC to be treated for his stab wounds.
Higgins was arraigned Saturday by Ohio County Magistrate Charlie Murphy and is being held on $1,000,000 cash bond in the Northern Regional Jail.
