Public Meetings Planned on Proposed Bridge - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

An informational public meeting will be held this evening in Brilliant and tomorrow night in Wellsburg on the proposed new bridge between Brooke and Jefferson counties.  

There won't be a formal presentation of the plan, but residents will have a chance to ask questions and express their opinions on what the Department of Transportation is calling the "preferred alternate 8b" plan.  

Residents will also have the ability to view the environmental assessment on the project.  Tonight's meeting will be held at North Elementary and tomorrow's meeting will held at Wellsburg Middle School.  

Both workshops run from 5pm until 8pm.
