
The Shadyside Tigers jumped out to a commanding 28-0, first-half lead, and cruised to a 35-7 win over visiting Monroe Central at Fleming Field.
Shadyside quarterback Chase Kinemond threw three touchdown passes and ran for a 58-yarder in the win. Receiver Cody Hudson caught two TDs. Shadyside's Ian Baker returned a punt 60 yards for a score.
The lone Monroe Central touchdown was scored by quarterback Korey Lafferre on a seven-yard run.
The Tigers improve to 2-0 on the season, and will make a trip to Toronto next Friday night.
The Seminoles, now 1-1 on the year, host River (2-0) next Friday night.
