Parkersburg South Hands Linsly First Loss in 12 Games - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

Parkersburg South ended Linsly's 11-game winning streak with a 33-19 victory over the Cadets at Bethany College.

The Cadets trailed 33-6 at the half, and tried to pull off a second starlight rally. They trailed 14-0 last week against Magnolia, and won 21-20.

Linsly running back Chinelo Oparanozie rushed for 202 yards on 22 carries and scored two, second-half touchdowns.

Linsly, now 1-1, has three more road games in the next three weeks. They travel to Allderdice, Wheeling Central and Shadyside.

South improved to 2-0.
