With the score tied at 14-14 at the half, the Big Reds scored a defensive touchdown and it gave them the momentum.
Shortly after, Bellaire junior quarterback Spencer Badia connected with Nick Patrone for a 44-yard touchdown, giving the home team a two-touchdown advantage.
John Marshall's Jacob Wood scored two touchdowns and ran for 82 yards on 8 carries. The Monarchs piled up 266 yards on the ground.
The Big Reds improve to 2-0 on the season, John Marshall dips to 0-2, with a 12th straight loss dating back to last season.
