ST. CLAIRSVILLE -
An Arkansas resident has died after being hit by two different vehicles late Thursday night.
According to the St. Clairsville Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Viola "Kim" Stark, 34 of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, was walking in the northbound lane of State Route 7 in Monroe County when she was hit by a vehicle.
Stark was hit again just moments later by a car traveling in the southbound lane.
Stark was pronounced dead at the scene by the Monroe County Coroner.
Alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor for Stark, but not for the drivers.
OSHP said Stark was temporarily living in Sardis, Ohio.
The incident is still under investigation.
