
The Clearview Police Department is investigating the death of a male juvenile Sunday after his body was discovered outside.
WTRF.com spoke with Clearview Police Chief Roger Bise who said the 16-year-old Wheeling Park High School sophomore was found just before 7 a.m. Sunday in a field near his residence on Clearview Avenue.
Upon arrival to the scene police say they found no visible injuries on the boy. Officers from Clearview were assisted by members of the Ohio County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities are awaiting the results of an autopsy and toxicology report as alcohol could be a contributing factor according to Chief Bise.
