Belmont County officials have called 75 prospective jurors for the upcoming trial of Belmont County Commissioner Matt Coffland.
Coffland was back in court today, for a status conference, leading up to his trial which is set for October 17th.
Coffland, of Shadyside, is charged with one count of assault on a peace officer, a felony.
He allegedly threw a full open beverage at liquor control agent at Jamboree in the Hills, on July 20th.
Coffland requested and got permission for the trial to be held before the election.
The county official charged with assault on a peace officer was in court.

The jury trial is scheduled for Oct. 17, at the Belmont County Courthouse.
Coffland is running for re-election to the county commission.
