The Indian Creek Redskins spoiled Homecoming at Bellaire, dominating the Big Reds in a 28-0 shutout at Nelson Field on Saturday afternoon.

Indian Creek controlled the line of scrimmage, piling up 371 yards on 57 carries. Leading the way was senior running back Logan Woods, who gained 120 yards on 21 carries.  Senior quarterback Alex Young threw for a score and ran for another, running for 41 yards and passing for 82.

The Big Reds committed five turnovers, losing three fumbles and junior quarterback Spencer Badia threw two interceptions. Badia finished the game with 244 yards passing, but the Reds had zero rushing yards on 12 carries.

This marks the second straight shutout at the hands of the Redskins (21-0 last year), as Indian Creek rebounded from last week's loss against St.Clairsville.

At halftime, Michelle Maffe was named the Bellaire High School Homecoming Queen.

The Big Reds (4-1) will visit St.Clairsville (5-0) next Friday night.

Indian Creek (4-1) will host Union Local (1-4) next Friday night.
