
No.13 (Class A) Bishop Donahue needed little time to show No.1 (Class A) Clarksburg Notre Dame the door in a 59-21 blowout at Monarch Stadium in Moundsville on Saturday night.
Senior running back Saquan Hill returned the opening kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown, and would also catch a touchdown pass from Lavonte Hampton in the opening quarter. Sophomore quarterback Jesse Padlow threw three touchdown passes, to Hampton, Josh Miller and Jordan Bonar.
Bishop Donahue held a 40-7 halftime lead.
The Bishops improve to 4-1 on the season with a trip to winless Hundred (0-5) on the schedule for next Friday night.
Notre Dame dips to 3-1.
