WHEELING -
Wheeling Police have launched an investigation into an alleged sexual assault in a campus dorm room at Wheeling Jesuit University.
Deputy Police Chief Marty Kimball said a 20-year-old woman claims she was sexually assaulted by five male students Saturday night. She reported the assault to police on Monday.
Police said the woman reported she had consensual sex with two of the men but claims at one point there were five men in the room and she was no longer consenting.
Detectives will be interviewing the five suspects involved.
Wheeling Jesuit President Richard Beyer said there is a specific process in place to address any issues brought by students.
Beyer said any complaint is taken very seriously.
