The Wheeling Park boys soccer team advanced to the OVAC Cup semifinals with a 4-0 shutout of St.Cliarsville at Brooke Memorial Stadium in Wellsburg.

The Patriots were led by Nate Mauck, who scored two goals, one coming on a penalty kick.

Jerry Lucas and Zack Witzberger added second half goals, lifting the Patriots to a sixth straight win, and eight shutout of the season.

It also earns the sixth-seeded Patriots a spot opposite No.2 seed University, a 7-1 winner over Parkersburg South, in Saturday's semifinal game at Wheeling Island Stadium, starting at 3 p.m.
