Construction postponed on I-470, Officials aiming to help - WTRF 7 News Sports Weather - Wheeling Steubenville

Late Thursday afternoon the West Virginia Division of Highways made a major announcement geared to helping traffic conditions around Wheeling.

Officials said they will be postponing road work on Interstate 470.

The work will be rescheduled once the work on Interstate 70 is complete.

The goal is to cut down on the congestion and wait time for motorists.
