The Martins Ferry Purple Riders blanked the Buckeye Local Panthers 40-0, spoiling Homecoming in Yorkville.
The Purple Riders piled up 402 yards of offense, and held the Panthers to just 64 yards. Ferry's Damon Outward intercepted Buckeye Local quarterback Nathan Kirk three times.
Purple Riders quarterback Eric Flowers completed 10-of-14 passes for 128 yards and a touchdown to Cody Schau.
At halftime, Marlee Piergallini was named Homecoming Queen.
The Purple Riders (5-1) come host to host Indian Creek (5-1) next Friday night.
Buckeye Local, now 3-3, visit Union Local (1-5) on Friday night.
