WHEELING -
The city of Wheeling wants your feedback on their summer events schedule and they are inviting the public to take their Summer Survey. The survey will let city officials know what you liked about their summer events, and what suggestions you would have for improving different events. They are even welcoming ideas for new events.
While it started as a summer survey, the public has turned in into much more, suggesting the city expands its festival and events schedule into the fall and winter seasons.
Director of Marketing and Community Relations, Allison O'Konski, says she has been getting some great ideas so far, and once the survey is over, she will take a look at all the feedback and find ideas and suggestions that are frequently repeated.
"Then we'll figure out, logistically, how we can improve on things, what events we can make happen, and where are we going to get the funding," O'Konski said. "Once we have a better idea of that, we'll let people know what we'll be changing for next year."
You can find the survey on wheelingwv.gov, or on Wheeling's Facebook page. You can either fill it out online or print it out and mail it in. O'Konski says the survey will be going on for a few more weeks.
