Authorities have arrested two men in the aggravated murder of a 92-year-old Bellaire woman.
Authorities said Brandon Michael Phelps is already in custody on a burglary charge and now is being charged with aggravated murder of Lydia Ashworth.
Police have also arrested Devin Wayne Fuller in Ohio County on a Fugitive from Justice warrant out of Belmont County. Fuller has been charged with aggravated murder of Ashworth.
Ashworth was brutally murdered in her home in Bellaire, Ohio on June 30.
The murder left community members in shock. In July, a reward fund was established to help gain information leading to an arrest and conviction of those involved in the murder.
A press conference was held Wednesday to announce details of the arrests. Bellaire Police Chief Mike Kovalyck, Belmont County Prosecutor Chris Berhalter and members of the Sheriff's Department were on hand.
