Replica ships from Christopher Columbus' landing are docked in Wheeling's Heritage Port.
The Nina and the Pinta replicas are modeled after the ships that crossed the Atlantic Ocean nearly 520 years ago. Patrons are able to tour the boats and see what life was like back in 1492.
Captain Stephen Sanger of the Nina told 7News how the tours work.
"People can come down and get self guided tours through both ships and they get to learn a little about what life was like 500 years ago," he said. "There are crews aboard the ships to answer questions and provide information."
The ships will be docked in Wheeling through the weekend. A tour of the ships is just $8.
