Set-up was in full swing for Oglebay Fest, the annual weekend long festival held at Oglebay Resort.
Organizers have been busy planning since last year's event, the first tents started going up last week. They've been running electricity and lights and those final preparations happened Thursday.
Vendors were scrambling to get their tents all ready to go. The event officially kicks off at noon Friday.
"We're putting the final touches on everything, getting the food moved into the various locations, getting the beverages lined up," said Director of Park Operations John Hargleroad. "Just doing all the final things now to get ready for the great weekend we're going to have."
Director of the Stifel Fine Arts Center, Rick Morgan said they try to bring in vendors from all over.
"We jury the festival every year, so we have a good amount of artists, and vendors, crafters that come from all over the place," he said. "We have people from Florida, Cincinnati and local."
The artists market will open at noon.
