Family and friends are gathering in Oglebay this weekend for the 35th Annual Oglebayfest.
The hills of Oglebay started filling up Friday afternoon after the ribbon cutting.
One highlight of Friday afternoon was the Phil Maxwell Artists' & Gourmet Markets.
The brick lanes behind the Mansion Museum were filled with art demonstrations in pottery, portrait drawing, glass bead work, black -smithing and wood turning. As well as fresh cooked kettle corn.
Many families use this weekend as an opportunity to have their reunions
Henry Hupp was at Oglebayfest Friday with his family.
Hupp worked for Oglebay for 35 years and even lived there.
He said he comes back every year and still believes Oglebay is the most beautiful park in the Easter part of the United States.
One of Hupp's daughters, Heidi Hupp-Wilson, said what she joins most about the weekend is seeing people she hasn't seen in decades. She drives in from Virginia for the festival every year.
The festival continues through Sunday.
