WHEELING -
The woman who accused five students of sexually assaulting her in a campus dormitory has been expelled from Wheeling Jesuit University according to sources.
President Richard Beyer said because of student privacy issues, he cannot comment.
He also has not confirmed the five men allegedly involved have been expelled. The same source reported one week ago the five male students were asked to leave the campus.
Wheeling Police launched an investigation into the
alleged sexual assault weeks ago. Deputy Police Chief Marty Kimball said a 20-year-old woman filed the sexual assault claim.
Police said the woman reported she had consensual sex with two of the men but claims at one point there were five men in the room and she was no longer consenting.
