The last day for residents of Ohio to register to vote is Tuesday, Oct. 9.
All of the state's 88 county elections boards will be open until 9 p.m. Tuesday when registration ends.
As of Friday, more than 7.9 million Ohioans were registered to vote. The states' elections chief says he expects that count to grow slightly.
