A man pleaded guilty to more than a dozen burglaries Tuesday
in Belmont County.
Authorities say Lawrence Henry pleaded guilty to 14 counts of
burglary, one count of receiving stolen property, and one count of breaking and
entering.
According to police $18,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from a home
on High Ridge Road near
Bellaire in December 2011. Henry reportedly tried to sell the jewelry to
a Martins Ferry store the morning after the theft.
Investigators were able to link Henry to numerous
area burglaries within a three-month period.
