Kinemond Leads Tigers Past Buckeye Trail

Undefeated, and state-ranked Shadyside started slowly, but eventually blanked Buckeye Trail 27-0 at Fleming Field.

It was the Tigers' second consecutive shutout, after defeating Wheeling Central 14-0 last week.

Junior quarterback Chase Kinemond threw three touchdown passes and ran for another, in the Tigers' eighth straight win. Two of Kinemond's scoring strikes went to Cody Hudson.

Shadyside hits the road for the final two regular season games starting next Friday ay Bridgeport (1-7), and then wrap up the regular season at Barnesville(4-4).

Buckeye Trail slips to 4-4 on the season, and hosts River (5-3) next Friday at the Baker Sports Complex.
