
The River Pilots are clinging to playoff hopes after a 40-6 win over winless Shenandoah in New Martinsville on Friday night.
Pilots quarterback Cody Caldwell passed for 184 yards and three touchdowns, and also added a rushing score.
Nick Austuri rumbled for 161 yards and a touchdown, while Jordan Sapp added 83 yards on the ground and a score.
The Pilots, who were in the No.8 spot in the Division VI Region 23 rankings, improved to 5-3 on the season. The visit Buckeye Trail (4-4) next Friday night.
The Zeps fall to 0-8 on the season. They're at Fort Frye next Friday.
