According to officials the new program was developed by the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources (WVDNR) and the Good Zoo was chosen as the training site.
Good Zoo educators will be teaching the classes in conjunction with the Schrader Environmental Education Center staff, WVDNR biologists and university experts.
Anyone of age who is interested can enter to take the 48 hours of core classes about mammals, birds, wildflowers, trees, habitats, nature interpretation and various other classes.
