Early voting numbers continue to rise in the Buckeye State.
Secretary of State Jon Husted says close to 407,000 residents have already casted their votes in the swing state.
More than 1.2 million voters have requested an absentee ballot to vote by mail since early voting began Oct. 2 and more than 124,000 people have voted early in person.
Ohio is among 34 states, plus the District of Columbia, where people can vote early without giving any reason.
About 30 percent of the swing state's total vote - or roughly 1.7 million ballots - came in before Election Day in 2008.
