Reward for West Virginia Arson Hotline Increased

The amount of money someone would receive for a successful arrest and conviction in an arson or insurance fraud case ,in West Virginia, has been increased.  

According to a press release, the reward has been increased from $2500 to $5000.  The West Virginia State Fire Marshal's made the request in conjunction with the West Virginia Essential Property Insurance Association.

The public is encouraged to call the toll-free to talk to law enforcement with any information regarding a suspicious fire.  The call is completely confidential.
