Stephen L. Vogrin was formally sworn in as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of West Virginia Monday in federal court.
Upon a motion made by U.S. Attorney William Ihlenfeld, II, Vogrin was administered the oath of office in United States District Court by Chief Judge John Preston Bailey.
Vogrin was an assistant prosecuting attorney in Ohio County, West Virginia for 12 years and handled the felony violent crime docket for county prosecutor Scott Smith.
A graduate of Wheeling Park High School, Vogrin holds degrees from Bethany College and the West Virginia University College of Law. He resides in Wheeling with his wife and four children.
