States across the nation have a big deadline coming up Friday.
A decision must be made whether or not states will run their own health insurance marketplaces, more commonly known as exchanges.
Exchanges are a service which provides side-by-side comparisons on price, what is covered, and how much a patient might have to pay out of pocket for a doctor's visit.
If states do decide to run their own exchanges, they have until December 14 to submit their blueprint plans to the government.
