The driver of a small pick-up truck was flown to UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh this morning after getting in an accident with a semi-truck in Harrison County.
The woman driving the pick-up truck rolled through the stop sign at the intersection of West Virginia Route 8 and Route 30 outside of Chester according to Deputy Chad Lamp.
The driver of the semi attempted to break and avoid hitting the woman but ended up hitting the driver's side of the truck.
Right now, crews are unsure of the condition of the driver. The passenger of the pick-up truck was taken to East Liverpool City Hospital for 24 hour observation but has no injuries.
The semi truck driver left uninjured.
Route 30 was shut down for an hour or so.
