72-year-old Steubenville woman pleads guilty to theft

A 72-year old Steubenville woman pleaded guilty to theft in the case of the two women embezzling money from the Fort Steuben Kennel Club.

Judge Bruzzesse sentenced Joyce Firm to five years community control and more than $15,000 of restitution which she will pay in increments of $25 a month. If she does not make restitution, she must serve 18 months in prison.

The other woman involved, 57-year-old Michelle Decola, also of Steubenville, is charged with one count of theft and one count theft by electronic device.

Parks embezzled $63,000. She will appear in court Tuesday.
