
A man charged with rape will have his case sent to the grand jury.
James Chaplin, 52, of Jacobsburg, Ohio is charged with two counts of rape, one count of gross sexual imposition and two counts of corrupting another with drugs. His bond will remain at $1 million.
Chaplin waved his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday morning in Bellaire. Officials say the alleged incidents occurred last December.
Chaplin had his initial appearance before Judge John Vavra of the Eastern Division Court.
No word yet on the next court date.
