The No.4 Madonna Blue Dons eliminated No.5 St.Marys 29-14 in a Class A Quarterfinal matchup at Jimmy Carey Stadium.
Madonna junior quarterback Ross Comis accounted for all four Blue Dons touchdowns. He ran for a pair and threw a pair of scores. Comis ran the ball for 62 yards, and completed 7-of-11 passes for 144 yards. He also forced a fumble and recovered it, and was charted for eight tackles.
St.Marys finishes the season with a record of 10-2. Senior quarterback Andrew Cosper and senior running back Derek Barnhart scored the Blue Devils' touchdowns, on a pair of short runs.
Madonna (11-1) advances to take on the winner between No.1 Tucker County and No.8 Clay Battelle next weekend.
