Martin Wong, CMO of Smartt, a digital Consulting Agency, will be presenting his latest updates on social media and search engines at the Business of Digital event for Magazines Canada in Toronto on November 22nd, 2012.
Designed to meet the magazine media industry’s growing need for thought-provoking information and insight on all things digital, the Business of Digital is a full-day event focused on how to effectively innovate, build, market and monetize web and mobile products and services. The Toronto series will include industry experts from across Canada such as Mike Wall (Director of comScore), Ryan Trotman (Senior Director and Publisher of Rogers Publishing), Martin White (Former Published of Time Canada), Kim Pittaway (Former Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor of Chatelaine), Charles Lim (Digital Director of Spafax Interative), and Martin Wong (CMO of Smartt).
Martin’s session will be on the impact of social content on search results. He will share his views on the recent changes to Google’s algorithm such as the Google Penguin updates and how magazine publishers can use his 3-step “Topic-Content-Promotion” formula to reach a wider audience.
