New details on a week old arrest involving Marshall County Schools Special Education Director Shelby Haines.
Police say earlier this month she allegedly struck a sign while driving under the influence, then left the scene. Haines was charged with a DUI after witnesses say she was behind the wheel when her vehicle struck the Stifel Fine Arts Center sign.
When police found the car at another location, Corey Murphy, the Principal of John Marshall High School was in the driver's seat.
Murphy was cited for not being able to produce a license. Haines said she was the one driving.
John Marshall's Assistant Superintendent, Wayne Sims, says they are still gathering facts, and won't comment until they are finished with their investigation.
