WAYNE, WV (AP) — About 20 Wayne High School students are barred from the school's graduation ceremony because of a senior prank that damaged the building.
A Wheeling law firm has a new director of communications and philanthropy, Bordas & Bordas recently announced.
Carrie Scanlon, of Moundsville, will coordinate the firm's communications, community and media relations and philanthropic efforts, a news release from the law firm states.
Scanlon has more than 15 years experience in marketing, public relations and sales.
"We are very pleased that Carrie Scanlon has joined us at Bordas & Bordas. Her background, experience and talent will be instrumental in helping us to fight for justice for our clients and in furthering our charitable giving that benefits so many people in our community," said Jamie Bordas, managing partner of the firm.
Scanlon is an adjunct faculty member at Wheeling Jesuit University, where she teaches integrated marketing communication courses.
